To be a coach, it is mandatory that you attend, or have attended one of the AYSO-sponsored coaching clinics held during July, August and September.  Becoming a trained and certified coach covers all players in the family.

q REFEREE: No experience required.  AYSO will train you.  Clinics will be held in August and September.  The region needs 300 referees (1 parent from every 5 families.)  Each U10, U12, and U14 team that covers at least 15 referee assignments during the regular season will be eligible for playoffs.  Each U8 team that covers at least 15 referee assignments will be invited to attend a post-season tournament to be held in December.  Only parents of U6 players may do their own child’s game, while parents of older players will schedule themselves for the game immediately before or after their child’s game.   Becoming a trained and certified referee covers all players in the family.
